Are you passionate about living history and want to teach others about the California Gold Rush? Join us for a "meet and greet" To learn more about Columbia State Historic Park's docent program please join us for the meet and greet at Eagle Cottage in the park. Docents get to wear period costume from the 1850s and 1860s, lead tours of the park, teach school kids about gold rush history and participate in special events held at the park. If you love history and want to be involved in a community of equally passionate people , join us on August 21st.
