We will discuss who can induce lactation, who might be a good candidate for induction and some steps that can be taken to prepare. Even if you've never been pregnant, you can nurse a baby. For adoptive parents, trans and cis gender non gestational parents and others who are interested in providing their human milk for a baby, there are a few methods to inducing lactation. This course is a basic introduction to lactation induction. We will discuss who can induce lactation, who might be a good candidate for induction and some steps that can be taken to prepare a body for induction. As a birth advocate, I'm interested in providing support to those who are birthing to enhance the birth experience. Every birthing person has the right to understand their options and make choices about their birth.Birth can be a wonderful experience. My goals are to help guide that experience. I am a Certified Birth Doula (DONA), a Certified Lactation Counselor, a Certified Child Passenger Safety Technician (CPST) and a Certified Childbirth Educator. I have helped many pregnant people through their pregnancies.
