The Goal: To develop NRA Instructors who possess the knowledge, skills and attitude to teach the NRA Refuse To Be A Victim Seminar AVGC Members use the gate code for a $25 discount The goal of this course is to develop NRA Certified Instructors who possess the knowledge, skills, and attitude necessary to conduct the NRA Refuse To Be A Victim Seminar. Prerequisites: Must have take the NRA Refuse To Be A Victim Class as a student . This student class is available 11/6/2021 at 1PM at Apple Valley Gun Club. Pre-Registration is required at www.avgc.evenbrite.com Must have taken the BIT: NRA Basic Instructor Training class in the previous 2 years. If you need this class it is available at High Desert Firearm Training 10/16/2021 at 8AM. Pre-Registration is required at www.HighDesertFirearmTraining.eventbrite.com NRA Refuse To Be A Victim teaches strategies people can integrate into their everyday lives to avoid becoming a victim of crime. Refuse To Be A Victim Instructor courses are taught by Regional Counselors and concentrate on technical aspects of the program, instructor expectations, certification guidelines, developing speaking techniques and presentation skills, marketing seminars, etc. Your NRA Training Counselor will make a recommendation to the NRA concerning your certification based on an evaluation of your knowledge, skills, and attitude.  You will be  demonstrating your organizational and teaching skills through participation in practical exercises.  You will take an examination.  Attendance at the course  does not guarantee that you will receive the recommendation.  You are not paying for certification, you have the opportunity to become certified.  All High Desert Firearm Training Classes are taught by experienced NRA, USCCA, Utah BCI, and CA DOJ  Certified Firearm Instructors.  Classes are located in Apple Valley or Victorville, CA.  Range time is at 1 of 2 local ranges.  All range fees are included in the cost of your class. We are located in the High Desert and serve Hesperia, Victorville, Apple Valley and the surrounding areas.  We are an easy drive from The Inland Empire, San Bernardino, Riverside, Los Angeles and Orange Counties.  We offer many group classes, individual training, and instructor classes.  If there is a class you would like to take that is not scheduled, please call, text or email us and we will set it up for you.  (951) 544-9190 [email protected]                                       951 544-9190            [email protected] out our website for more information.  www.highdesertfirearmtraining.com
