Life Styled Honors is an annual weekend event founded by Maui Bigelow celebrates the beauty, brilliance, and badass-ness of women. Writer/Influencer Maui Bigelow (formally known as Phat Girl Fresh) returns for an epic 8th Annual Life Styled Honors event! A world-renowned celebration of style, community, beauty and brilliance, Life Styled Honors, an appreciation experience curated by Maui Bigelow, will make its 8th appearance in Atlanta, Georgia, on August 12-15, 2021. Identified as an “ingenious meld of fashion, beauty & empowerment." Life Styled Honors is one of the most exciting events of the season, celebrating promising and notable influence in fashion, beauty, entertainment, and empowerment. Past honorees have included Project Runway’s model competition winner, Liris Crosse, and social activist, founder of the #MeToo movement, Tarana Burke, and R&B singer Nicci Gilbert-Daniels of Brownstone famed, for her influence and philanthropy work in the Greater Atlanta region and around the world. While COVID-19 and the global pandemic placed us on quarantine and paused our party, we will be celebrating 2020's outstanding honorees and an amazing group of 2021 honorees. 2020's honorees include Brande Victorian, Senior Editor; Devorah Story, Model; Lisa Price, Founder of Carol's Daughter; Rochelle Johnson, Digital Influencer; Kristine Thompson, Digital Influencer & designer; Akira Armstrong, Founder of Pretty Big Movement; and Digital Influencer & dancer Brandi Mallory. 2021 honorees are Social Activist Tamika Palmer and Celebrity Stylist GooGoo Atkins. The weekend’s events will kick off Thursday, August 12, 2021, with a formal charity dinner celebrating Breonna Taylor and honoring her mother Tamika Palmer(tickets sold separately). On Friday, August 13, 2021, our highly anticipated all-white VIP social, Curves En Blanc sponsored by Lane Bryant, is returning to the rooftop of Suite Lounge ATL (375 Luckie St. Atlanta, GA 30313) The evening will feature a night of fabulous style, delicious food, signature drinks, hookah and dancing. Not to mention the major opportunities to network and celebrate with industry leaders, celebrities and tastemakers. The feature event will be hosted by Comedian Star Carter and co-host NZinga Imani on Saturday, August 14, 2021. This event will be held at 595 North Event Center. Doors will open for red carpet and shopping at 2:45 pm with the show beginning at approximatly 4:44 pm.
