We are Back presenting live events! And we start at our favorite venue, Glen Foerd on the Delaware with two favorite genres, Jazz and Opera
Jazz Meets Opera in the Musical room of the Glen Foerd Mansion.
You will come for the Jazz and stay for the Opera. You will come for the Opera and stay for the Jazz. Expand your cultural horizons with Multicultural Arts Exchange.
Somewhere near the intersection of Norah Jones and Billie Holiday, you will find Philadelphia's soulful and stylish singer, Maci Miller. Whether she's interpreting the Great American Songbook or her own compositions, Maci captivates and entertains audiences around the globe with her unique vocal blend of jazz, pop, and blues.
With his velvet "intoxicating" lyrical-dramatic baritone enhanced by a wide vocal range and handsome, masculine appearance of a romantic "macho," David Gvinianidze embodies the diverse parts of the opera house stage of both heroic and lyrical style. His concert repertoire consists of hundreds of arias from the world opera classics and romances by world-renowned composers.
Glen Foerd stewards an eclectic riverfront estate for the enjoyment and educational benefit of the community. Drawing from the estate’s architecture, art, material culture, and history—as well as its gardens and waterways—Glen Foerd provides inclusive experiences that spark curiosity and support Philadelphia’s natural and cultural ecosystems.
We present musicians, dancers, singers, and theater actors that are fluently moving across traditional boundaries of genres, languages, and cultures creating unique art programs in the process.
We strongly believe that art is the only universal language that everybody in the world could understand and appreciate.
