Hi neighbors. I am crowd sourcing a new skill and fixing food security issue I'm having by asking anyone if they have any fruit trees that are overflowibg with fruit they don't eat much of. I would like to preserve the fruit by canning it to store and eat when money is tight. I know during the summertime that cherries and stone fruit are in season, blackbwrries, elderberries, etc so if anyone might have an abundance that is going to go to waste of peaches, nectarines, cherries, loquats, really anything, I will come take it off your hands one of these weekend days. The farther out from San Leandro you are, the more fruit it would take to make my little bit of gas money worth it, but please send me a message if you would like to skip cleaning up a sticky mess under your tree this season!
