Join local educator and performer, Miss Cassidy, for some garden-themed activities and music! Miss Cassidy Creates joins the Swissvale Community Action Committee for the Third Annual Swissvale Edible Garden Tour! Join us in the Swissvale Community Garden for garden-themed activities and music. Pro-tip! Have your learners collect a few rocks beforehand or on the way over - they'll be painting rocks as garden markers! We'll have extras if you don't bring their own. Miss Cassidy is an engaging educator, performer, and theatre artist. Celebrated for her high energy and friendly, inviting style, she is passionate about educating and encouraging kids of all ages to cultivate their talents and confidence and to step out of their comfort zone to find their inner weirdos. The Swissvale Edible Garden Tour is a project of the Swissvale Community Action Committee (SCAC), supporting the Swissvale Community Garden (located at the corner of Collingwood and Denniston Aves.) SCAC is comprised of impassioned residents of the Borough of Swissvale.
