90's/00's Rap Cover Band

Hi 90's kids (or 90's enthusiasts). I'm hoping to put together a rap cover band for jamming and gigging. I'm a 40-year-old guitarist who grew up playing rock/metal but I also spent my formative years listening to all the great rap artists of the 90's and would love to bring that to the Seattle/Tacoma live music scene. This is an instrumental musicians platform - guitar, base, drums, keyboard, vocals. Ice Cube, OutKast, Snoop, Eminem, Beastie Boys, NWA, Cyprus Hill, Biggie, etc are some of the artists I'd like to pay tribute to. I'm also a drummer who can switch off if needed so a couple options there. A few things about me: I previously fronted a Weezer tribute band (lookup Half Japanese Girls in Seattle) for a couple years and we gigged all over Seattle - we had a TON of fun. I live in Fife and have living room practice space on weekends and some weekday afternoons. I have a good job so while I'm not looking to be a career musician, I do think this would be a blast and I'm dedicated to spending some free time to create a great band and play some live shows. Gimme a holler and let me know if you're a guitarist, bassist, singer, etc, what tunes you'd like to play and what your availability is.
