Searching for a unicorn. Running this up the flagpole to see if anybody salutes. New to area. Play mostly keys…double on bass, guitar, vox. Been there, done that, got the t-shirt Prefer Americana. Think Gram and Emmylou, Buddy and Julie Miller, Richard and Linda Thompson, Sheryl Crow, Bonnie Raitt, Shawn Colvin…that sorta thing. Know a few thousand songs and open for suggestions. Been there, done that, got the t-shirts. If you also play an instrument, that would be terrific. Or if you already are doing a duo thing with a guitar player and want to add keys, I’m good to go for a trio. Harmonies, timing and a sense of humor are non-negotiable. Absolutely no Margaritaville, Brown Eyed Girl or Mustang Sally enthusiasts need answer. Same goes if the only singing you ever did was “Me and Bobby McGee” or “Gimme One Reason” at an open mic.
