$17 – 22/hr to start PTO Paid Federal Holidays Medical/Dental/Vision Tips, tips, tips! We are a small, local moving company that specializes in providing excellent service to interior designers and decorators with a wide array of top-notch clients, primarily in the Mtn. Brook and over-the-mountain area. We offer the kind of white-glove service that our clients demand, and we pay our people to provide it. If you have a great attitude, the ability to converse appropriately with clients, and the physical strength and stamina to occasionally carry an extremely delicate yet strangely heavy sofa up five flights of stairs unexpectedly, we want to talk to you! Your prior experience is not super important if you can handle the work with a smile and be trained in the best practices for our particular niche of the moving industry, but high school or college athletics, prior moving experience, art handling, truck driving, trade school and other similar experience that demonstrates an ability to think critically while also working very hard, physically, is definitely helpful. We’re happy to work with your school schedule, trade, community college, college, etc. Ability and willingness to drive up to 26’ box truck is a big plus (CDL not required; clean driving record is). Being in GREAT physical shape and having a positive attitude every day are the best two qualifications you can have. The work isn’t always hard, the pay and benefits are great, and the tips are plentiful. There absolutely will be days when you just ride around delivering new ottomans and dining chairs to grateful clients, collect payments, then dispose of the packaging and clock out without breaking a sweat. We pay better than industry average, plus we always pay your full rate for every minute you are on the clock, whether driving, riding, packing, loading, or whatever. For those reasons we are looking for a bit of a different kind of mover/installer. If you are interested in a job that could be a lucrative career, send a resume or a detailed email with your name, working phone number (please indicate if you cannot receive texts for any reason), recent work experience, and a little about yourself, plus your availability for either an in-person or FaceTime/Zoom/etc. interview. Hours: Full-time Part-time Requirements: Reliable transportation to work Driver’s License (preferred; required for drivers) High School Diploma or equivalent (preferred) Ability to lift and carry 75lbs repeatedly (required) Working smartphone (required) 18+/21+ for drivers Conversational English at minimum Basic arithmetic, clock math, writing skills (required) No opioids, no amphetamines, no drunks, no junkies, no active substance abuse issues period NO SMOKERS Benefits: Medical plan Dental plan Vision plan Seven federal paid holidays per year Paid Time Off accrual Weekly overtime (time and a half after 40 hours every week) Absolutely no weekends Minimal out-of-town/overnight work Flexible schedule Significant cash tips
