The USA Clydesdale Preservation Foundation (USACPF) is in need of volunteers! We are an organization dedicated to educating the public about draft horse breeds, their history, their future, and their endangerment. We currently have four Clydesdales in our herd. No prior horse experience required. Volunteers must love animals, love horses, and be willing to learn. Most work is manual in nature and is outdoors, but we do accommodate volunteers who might not be able to do much heavy work. Shifts available are AM or PM, everyday of the week. Most shifts are about 2 hours long but some may be longer or shorter depending on needs. We ask for one shift a week, but are very flexible and can accommodate you for as many or as few shifts as you'd like.
