Help!❗ Adopter needed by 7/27/21, or I will be put down in shelter❗️ Hi, I'm Delilah🐾 (Could go to a home with another dog if an adopter is able to separate and do a slow introduction.) Sadly, I am set to be euthanized Tuesday, July 27th at 8 am. One of the saddest reasons a dog can be E-listed is because they are mentally breaking down in the shelter environment. This is happening to me. I am struggling in my small concrete kennel day after day! I need out of a shelter environment before I harm myself! I need a home ASAP! It is inhumane to keep me here in this condition…Can someone save my life? I listen well! I am a 3-year-old, spayed, white and brown American Pit Bull Terrier. This is the 3rd time I have found myself at the shelter. The first two times I was brought to the shelter by people that found me as a stray. Both said I was very friendly, had a lot of energy, and jumped up to get attention. Third time I was living with a 2 year old, and I was just a bit too jumpy so it wasn't a good fit for me. Volunteers say that I am “such a sweet dog” that loves attention and being petted. They say I walk well on a leash once out of the shelter and that I will “sit” on command for treats and take them gently My dog to dog evaluation notes indicated I was fine with other dogs but wasn't very engaging with them. I was more interested in the people than the dogs! Children 12 on up. Come and meet me!....Please hurry my time is running out!
