Press release from the Atlanta Police Department: 07/23/2021 Preliminary information: On July 23, 2021, at approximately 2:26 PM, Atlanta Police responded to a call of a person shot at 3718 Martin Luther King Jr Dr. SW. Upon arrival, officers located an adult male who had sustained an apparent gunshot wound. He was pronounced deceased at the scene by EMS.   The preliminary investigation has revealed that there was a dispute between the shooter and the decedent, that escalated to gunfire. Homicide Units have identified all involved parties and are currently working to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident. The investigation continues.
