Rock/Indie/Pop musicians - make some music? Write/record/perform?

I'm 50, and been playing guitar and keys since Ronald Reagan was President. Now that I've got that out of the way, I'm looking to see who's out there in the same boat. Maybe you sing, play guitar, keys, drums, whatever. You don’t noodle around on an instrument; you’re pretty damn good, and you've been in some excellent bands over the years. With middle age came kids, jobs -- all the stuff that makes it hard to spend time on music. You don't want to play Tommy Tutone covers, you want to write and play originals. Playing out a bar or club? Maybe. But you just want to play in a room with other good musicians; that might be enough. That's the boat I'm in. Influences are many, but if I were to play something on Spotify this minute, it'd probably be something from the 80s, or Counting Crows. Something fun, something with some life and groove.
