I am the co-founder of an npo serving Chicago's underserved and underrepresented youth and South Siders. Our goal is to inspire creative solutions to generational disparities, closing the opportunity gap using the arts, education, wellness, and life skills to equip our community members to be whole, connected, and self-sufficient. To anyone who has begun a venture of their own, the time, energy, and passion it takes to get a new business off of the ground can be crippling if done with no support. It can also be very challenging to focus on working for your calling when you're concerned about paying rent, keeping food on the table, and staying mentally and physically well. This is where this idea for Npo sponsorship sprouted. The radical idea is that there may be philanthropists, humanitarians, investors, and overall do-gooders that would want to support two young women on a mission to create perpetual change.
