Homeowner is interested in installing backyard sump pump or a 2nd indoor sump pump. Need the lowest cost solution to push water away from the property during heavy rainfall from a local waterproofing expert or professional. Interior french drain is also one option. So is installing a drain outside at the footing (will require digging, etc.) Homeowner has budget of 3K on low end and 6K on high end to get entire gig completed (labor/material). GC must have a plan and schedule in place before work gets started. External drainage solution is preferred as homeowner plans to renovate basement in the future.
