Really nice hatchet. I would like to return it to you. I came across it near the place you described as your turn around point before hiking back to the trailhead where you met us on our way in. Send a pic or description of the predator deterent you were carrying as proof that it is you, and we can meet up locally to get the hatchet back to you. By the way, thank you again for the intel and stories you shared about that particular trail as well as about the wildlife you have seen in that proximity. Meeting fellow backcountry travelers is always a treat for us. Mary and the dogs and I had a fabulous hike. We are profoundly sore and slowly recuperating from it today.
