Am I the only one who sees through all this bullshit? Everyone trying to keep up with the Joneses… The superficial interactions…People finding worth in consumerism? I need a connection with someone who is real. Do you know what real is anyone? Unfortunately I’m losing sight of it. All I see are lost souls pretending. Pretending to care. Pretending to be whole. Pretending to be aware. Pretending to be compassionate. Pretending to understand love, forgiveness, and acceptance better than you. They are the kind of people who scare me. They are the ones who are pretending they understand something we don’t understand. Convince me otherwise, because the world is a stage.
