College-age singer/songwriter looking for friends in the area

Hey! I’m a 20M musician, just moved to the East Village. Lived in Los Angeles previously, though I’ve spent a good deal of time in NYC. I’ve got a few friends at NYU and Columbia, but I’m looking for some friends in the city with similar interests who are either down to play/record a bit, or even just to hang out and talk music. I’m mostly into folk/rock stuff and that’s what I make as well. I like a lot of people from the Greenwhich Village folk scene and know a lot about that era. I typically play solo, guitar/vocals and harmonica, but I’m just as comfortable with an electric or on keyboards with a band.
