Any suggestion for my godson?

So my godson is coming home for a court date in order to handle a misdemeanor warrant. It's from 2019 and only happened cause of a night drinking with his narcissistic mother that imo is pretty stupid and will probably be dropped. Anyways, though hes employed he just paid his Bill's for August and after handling the amtrak round trip to get here for court and back he wont be able to afford the insane hotel prices in vb. Any suggestions I can give him? Idk what to tell him, I just dont want him struggling when hes doing the grown thing handling this. Please be nice in your responses
