Join us at Friendship Park in Gahanna on Saturday, August 28th for a Kids Yoga Event and our first Olivia Strong Fundraiser! The event will run from 10:00am-2:00pm with multiple sessions of Kids Yoga. We have broken down the groups into four sections: Preschool (Must be at least 3)Elementary Grades K-2 Elementary Grades 3-5Middle School Grades 6-8Sign up for the proper age group at the desired time for your child, based on current age and year in school for they are in/entering this year. We ask that preschool age parents sit with their child during the class. Elementary age parents can sit next to, or close by to assist their child as needed. Teen parents will need to stay present at the event though they do not need to stay with their child. If your child has a Namaste in Love T-shirt, we encourage them to wear it to the event! We have partnered with Namaste in Love Yoga Studio for this event and would love to see the kids in their shirts. In addition to yoga, we will have a special visit from the Kona Ice truck and a raffle for a kids basket of goodies as well as a parent basket. All participants and parents will be entered in the raffle when registered. We chose a kids Yoga event as our first Olivia Strong fundraiser because our yoga is something that our daughter loves. She has participated in kids yoga at Namaste in Love Yoga Studio and still talks about it today! 100% of the proceeds of this event will go to the Olivia Strong Foundation for research trials to cure DIPG. We are thankful to all who have volunteered their time to make this event successful and to raise money for this cause.
