Description

Deep breathing and intentional movement to release stagnancy and welcome joy Join Maya Oren for a Friday night movement meditation that will leave the week behind you. Cradled between the living wall and billowing linen ceilings of Eaton Wellness, we begin with kundalini breath work, move into deep relaxation, and arising with mantra music that slowly moves into a free dance and movement. Meditative movement will be gently guided in the direction of liberation and alignment with rhythm, letting go of any thoughts, hesitations, fears. Email [email protected] to inquire about full program scholarships available to first generation Americans. About Maya Oren "I am the Founder and Creative Director of MOJALVO, a creative studio that specializes in helping brands establish and grow their voice and brand culture. My desire is to remind individuals of their unique makeup and identity in the world, encouraging them to embody their fullest and most authentic expressions. I am a healer, yogi, and free-movement practitioner, and I believe that holistic wellbeing is essential to the success of any individual. I’ve been practicing vinyasa and kundalini for several years and they bring me a lot of peace. Movement influences my style of work in so many ways. I think most importantly, it shows me how to be fluid, and how to deeply lead with my intuition. When we allow our bodies to speak to us, we learn so much about our truest selves. We strip the layers of competition, comparison, and ego, and we create for our highest selves."
