CE Class DC Fai r Housing DC, MD and VA license holders This course is a complete review of current federal, state and local fair housing laws. It also ties these laws into the long history of civil rights legislation in the United States. In addition, it covers the prohibited acts and how these acts could affect day-to-day real estate. This class also includes detailed discussion of acceptable practices for reasonable modification and reasonable accommodation for those with disability. Finally we will discuss recent fair housing legal cases, including the behavior and the disciplinary results of those cases. This course will help each student become more aware of fair housing issues and how to avoid violating fair housing laws.
