As our first mixer post-pandemic, we'll be marking the occasion of our founder Frank Fredericks stepping down as Executive Director.
Please join us next Wednesday to mark the occasion of Frank stepping down as Executive Director at World Faith. This is our first event in person in nearly two years!
This is a rooftop bar, and we'll be using best practices for such a public gathering. As such, we're asking on those who are fully vaccinated to attend, and if you've traveled recently, please consider getting a rapid covid test (which are free and super fast now). Lastly, if you don't feel well, please stay home.
To keep in line with our general cheekiness as an organization, we're calling it a "go away" instead of a "going away". Please join us in both sending Frank off, as well as telling him of!
We look forward to seeing you there!
World Faith’s mission is to end religious violence. We do this by mobilizing religiously diverse young people to tackle global development projects. Our model addresses two main drivers of religious violence: lack of relationships with religious others, and socioeconomic disenfranchisement. By mobilizing religiously diverse youth to work together on development projects in the areas of women's empowerment, education, and public health, we help participants to build lasting relationships with the religious others with whom they work, and empower young people to see themselves as positive changemakers in their communities. World Faith has mobilizing 5,000 volunteers in over 300,000 hours of service over the years and is active in ten countries, from Gambia to Indonesia
