Are you interested in unionizing the games industry? Come get agitated with your fellow game workers at a relaxed outdoor gathering! Gotta Organize 'em All!Meet fellow game worker activists from the LA and OC area, swap strategies, and share solidarity! We have a breezy outdoor venue with plenty of shade, light refreshments, and snacks. An open mic will be provided for folks wishing to share their experiences in the industry, feel free to participate or sit back and listen! Hosted by Game Workers of Southern California, fighting for dignity and respect in our industry. Is the boss keeping you down? Are you taken advantage of at work? Learn to flex the collective power of you and your coworkers! Joined by CODE-CWA, an initiative by the Communications Workers of America to support workers’ organizing in the technology and games industry. Tech and game companies meteoric growth in recent years has been accompanied by growing concerns around workers’ rights and workplace conditions. CODE-CWA provides resources for workers who are joining together to demand change.
