We're kicking off our 6th annual Literacy in the Bag book drive with a festival! Bring a book and enjoy some fun with the family. This kickoff event is free to anyone who wants to learn more about our cause and literacy in the Houston area. If you have a book, please bring it! We are looking for new and gently used books grade levels K-8. The books donated will go to Title 1 schools within HISD and any monetary donations go through our partners at the Houston Public Library Foundation to purchase new books for students. Come join us at Saint Arnold Brewing Company to learn, give, and have a little fun! We need volunteers to help work the event, setting up, monitoring entrances, helping vendors, handing out information, tearing down and clean up. We will need help from 9am-4pm the day of the event and are willing to run two crews of volunteers.
