Step back in time and learn about the history of Davenport with the German American Heritage Center's Historic Summer Walking Tours. The German American Heritage Center and Museum in downtown Davenport is pleased to offer Historic Summer Walking Tours for Summer 2021. Learn about where German immigrants worked, lived, and created a community. The walking tour will share details of their personal lives, as well as notable architectural styles found throughout downtown and the Gold Coast. Tours are offered Saturdays at 10am starting June 5th and running through August 21st. Registration is required. Purchase your tickets on eventbrite.com Each tour costs $5 per person. Tours are limited to 10 persons. Due to COVID restrictions, we are unable to cater to group larger than 10. Social distancing and masking standards will be followed throughout. Hand sanitizer and hand washing stations are available in the museum. Please note: our walking tours weave throughout downtown Davenport. As a result, there is limited accessibility for those with mobility limitations. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring water!
