Fun in the Sun: Block Party This August, celebrate the beautiful summer weather with a Fun in the Sun ☀️ Block Party! This free community event has TONS of FUN for you and your family to enjoy! Family-Friendly Activities 🎉 For smaller kids, we’ll have bouncy houses, face painting, water balloons, chalk drawing, and bubbles. For bigger kids and adults, we’ll have relay races, corn hole, and board/card games. There will also be plenty of space to relax under the tents and enjoy (or dance to) the music! Featured Food Trucks 🍖 R&B Grille and Concessions (fried seafood, chicken, and southern fixins) 🍔 How ‘Bout Burger (custom crafted burgers and wings) 🌮 Taco Del Marcos (authentic Mexican tacos, burritos, and other traditional dishes) 🍧 Kona Ice (premium, flavored shaved ice) Door prizes 🤑 On every hour of the event, we will award gift cards for shopping, restaurants, and gas. To be entered for the door prize drawings, you must register (see below for details) and be present during the prize callings to win! Registration 💻 While the Block Party is free, please register to help us prepare for the event size. Pre-registration is preferred, but also available on the day of the event in-person.
