Open Mic and Open Mind: Come join us for a fun night of open mic slam poetry to raise funds for and encourage Mental Health awareness! Watch Talented writers perform while raising funds for an important cause! We are hosting a fundraising event to raise money for our film Shooting late August. Our film deals with difficult but important rising issues of Eating Disorders, Mental health struggles, and lack of self connection and connection with others. In order to raise both funds and awareness, we are hosting an event to encourage connection within our neighborhood, as well as help to fund both this film and important message. 75% of proceeds will go to the film, with the remainder being donated to National Eating Disorder Association.
