Introduction to Breastfeeding for Doulas Breastfeeding Class for Doula Certification In this 3 hour breastfeeding class, you will learn the basics of breastfeeding to help you better support your doula clients with breastfeeding at birth and in the early postpartum weeks.  This class is being taught by a Alison Spath, IBCLC, CD(DONA).  Alison has been an active doula in our community since 2014, teaches BBC's Introduction to Breastfeeding class for expecting families, facilitates our weekly breastfeeding support group, Breastfeeding Cafe and offers private lactation consults to families in the Rochester community. You will received a certificate to use toward your Birth and/or Postpartum Doula certification through DONA International. This class will be held in person at Beautiful Birth Choices, 681 Winton Road North, Rochester, NY 14609.
