Author Signing of "I Can't Wait to Vote" with Local Author Tiffany Lanier Join us at Rohi's Readery for an exciting local author signing and activity with Tiffany Lanier! We will be learning all about: The Voting Rights Act of 1965, a landmark piece of federal legislation in the United States that prohibits racial discrimination in voting.The voting rights of Women of Color (which was not supported with the 19th Amendment). The Voting Rights Act Amendment of 1975 that extended to outlawing discrimination of language "minority" citizens. Tiffany will be sharing her personal story of why it is important to VOTE, reading her very own children's book "I Can't Wait to Vote", and following up with an activity for kids to cultivate their curiosity around voting! Tiffany's book "I Can't Wait to Vote" is currently available at the Readery! About the Author: Tiffany Lanier is a leading millennial voice in personal growth, well-being, and conscious leadership.
