We recently brought in Bama's first legit Clairet - Guichot Clairet made from 100% organic merlot. Now, we wanna offer you a taste. What is it? ‘Clairet’ refers to a wine style similar to rosé, but richer in pigment due to longer fruit maceration. They’re made specifically in the Clairet appellation of Bordeaux from the classic red Bordeaux grapes. Think 'dry red', but light & airy with a bit of tannin. LeNell's 1st liquor store in Brooklyn, New York was chosen as New York's Small Business of the Year and was Global Retailer of the Year by Whisky Magazine. Her Red Hook Rye whiskey is now one of the most sought after unicorns for whiskey collectors. She has completed construction for her new location in the historic Norwood neighborhood of Birrmingham and is thrilled to be back home in Bama.
