One Person Died In Ridge Road Car Crash: Plainfield Police

PLAINFIELD, IL — One person died in a two-car crash on Ridge Road around 3:23 p.m. Friday, police said. The other person sustained non-life-threatening injuries. Police said they're still working on determining what happened and identifying the people involved in the crash. Illinois State Police requested to handle the accident reconstruction, according to Plainfield Commander Anthony Novak. The road between Route 126 and Plainfield-Oswego Road was closed for several hours while police investigated.
