LA GRANGE, IL — Police found a La Grange man with methamphetamine earlier this week after responding to a disturbance, police said.
Christopher Romano, 26, was charged with methamphetamine possession and possession of a controlled substance less than 15 grams.
According to a police report, officers were called about 3:30 a.m. Sunday near East and Calendar avenues for a disturbance call. A neighboring agency was already on hand.
When searching Romano, officers found a pill bottle containing pills and a small bag with white powder, police said.

Ernest Mosby, 39, of Addison, was arrested Tuesday on a charge of simple battery. According to a police report, Mosby was involved in a physical altercation with a co-worker in the 400 block of Bluff Avenue. He turned himself into the La Grange police station. Edward Jackson, 30, of Chicago, was cited about 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in the 10 block of South La Grange Road on charges of driving with a suspended license and unsafe opening of a car door. After a non-injury crash, Jackson opened his car door into the lane of traffic. The door was struck by an oncoming car, according to a police report. A bicycle was stolen between 6 a.m. Tuesday and 6 a.m. Thursday in the 10 block of West Burlington Avenue. The locked bike was a blue Trek. Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
