Michigan Coronavirus Cases Near 900,000 Friday

LANSING, MI — Nearly 900,000 confirmed cases of the coronavirus have been reported in Michigan as of Friday, according to the most recent data released by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. According to that data — released Friday and part of the state's twice-a-week COVID-19 data updates — Michigan has reported 1,295 confirmed new cases of the coronavirus since Tuesday. The new figures bring the total number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the state to 899,921, according to MDHHS data.
