1 Killed In Tucson Shooting; Police Seek Possible Suspects

TUCSON, AZ — Police are searching for suspects in a Friday night shooting that left one man dead. Just after 10 p.m., Tucson police were called to a home in the 4400 block of South 7th Avenue. When officers arrived, they found a man shot outside the home, police said. The victim was identified as 43-year-old Ruben Chavarria Valenzuela. Police say Valenzuela died at the scene. According to police, Valenzuela was standing outside the home, visiting with its residents, when he was struck by gunfire. Police said they don't believe it was a random shooting. Anyone with information about the shooting is encouraged to call 88-CRIME.
