Seeking experienced horse handler for local party pony business. Skill requirements: 1.Must love kids and horses! 2.Punctual 3.Responsible 4.Organized 5.Attention to detail 6.Can multitask 7.Stays on task 8.Strong problem solving skills 9.Team management skills 10.Phone skills 11.Good customer service 12.Bubbly 13.Kind 14.Good morals 15.Job description: Contact booking party to confirm details and location of booked event 24 hrs. prior to party. 16.Team management: Connect with wranglers assisting at booked event/s. (Coordinate with wranglers their time needed, location of where to meet and uniform/theme to come dressed in.) 17.Day of party/ies, groom (bathe) miniature horse/s and/or pony prior to event. Decorate, saddle or harness booked equine/s. (This skill will be taught.) 18.Gather and check inventory of all needed supplies for each event. Load supplies and equine/s into trailer. 19.Keep things organized. 20.Drive truck/trailer to events (this skill can be taught.) 21.Manage and oversee at events: Greeting guests, going over rules of safety, acquiring signatures of all parents on waiver and release form. Overseeing wranglers, kids, parents and horses… and yes, all at once. Here’s where your strong multitasking skills will help you. I can not have someone easily distracted or who will get lost in conversation. You are there to make sure NO ONE GETS HURT and has a fantastic time. 22.Departure of event: Greeting customers goodbye, being thankful, offering group photo and gathering all supplies, collecting payment. 23.Return equine/s to home base: untacking and tucking them into to their cozy stalls and thanking them for bring joy to all the hearts. 24.Park truck and trailer and insuring that it is clean and organized for the next event that brings smiles to all.
