Today's music ain't got the same soul, I like that ol'time rock'n'roll! "Captain Soviet and The Sound Benders" is looking for a bassist. We play rock'n'roll, old school rock, rockabilly, pop/rock with the touch of indie rock, think Elvis, Stray Cats, Faces, Chuck Berry, Stones, Carl Perkins, Doors, Police, Beatles. Please respond if you love and want to play in that style. Age, sex and even skill level is not that important as long as you have the right rock'n'roll attitude. We need someone who is creative, can come up with own bass lines/riffs, likes to have fun playing music and is not afraid to put on a show on stage, high-energy, audience engaging. So far there are two solid band members lead singer/rhythm guitar and drummer, we have a good set of 10 original songs that we've been working on so far (there are more). We practice couple of times per week, I have a nice set up in my house in Reseda with the PA, amps, guitars, mics etc... I have a couple of small gigs lined up already, so let's get in touch and start preparing for the showtime :) looking forward
