We are looking for someone who would enjoy providing healthy, nutritious home-cooked meals to children attending a small, non-profit child care center. Our center is licensed for 30 children ages 2-5.
The person we are looking for does not need to have formal food service certification but has the ability to follow established recipes, has training in food sanitation and safe food handling procedures and is an independent worker.
The duties include preparation and serving of a lunch, preparing morning and afternoon snack and clean-up. There is some record-keeping as we are part of the USDA food program. We believe in providing children with nutritious, home-cooked meals in order to help them learn healthy eating habits which will serve as a foundation for future eating habits.
This is a permanent part-time position. The hours are 8:15am - 1:15 pm Monday- Friday. The wage is $14.00-$16.00/hour.
