Description

Duties: Perform maintenance and light repairs Test performance of in-unit appliances, such as refrigerators, microwaves, stoves, ovens and coffee makers (Repair/replace equipment or appliances if needed) Identify, document and report maintenance and repair work Inspect all spaces while at the unit(s) to identify problems, failures or breakdowns Suggest additional repairs when identified and needed Respond to property managers’ requests for maintenance services, including but not limited to, replacing air filters, painting services, installing new locks, troubleshooting smoke detectors, lighting installation, carpeting, etc. Repair plumbing, electrical and safety systems in units as required Undertake duties as assigned including infrequent emergency tasks (flexible times) Equipment: Own form of transportation All tools and equipment required to perform all duties Skills: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a handyman Minimum of 5 years of experience with appropriate electrical tools and equipment Valid Driver's license Systems Experience Plumbing Electrical HVAC systems Appliances Wall/surface Repair Furniture Repair Mobile smart device and familiarity with scheduling/maintenance applications Good communication skills, both verbal and written Must be proactive, able to show initiative and work on his/her own Willingness to uphold company standards for safety and efficiency Positive attitude Problem solver High attention to detail High level of integrity
