We are a growing company in need of some qualified maintenance/renovation techs. We have 28 unit property in Los Angeles and a 25 unit property in Canoga Park in need of a maintenance technician. Discounted 1 bedroom unit provided! REQUIREMENTS: 1. Minimum 2 years of previous experience as a maintenance technician in apartment communities. 2. Must own a truck and have your own tools. 3. Basic smart phone & computer skills. Yardi experience a plus 4. Must have knowledge in all areas of maintenance such as checking, troubleshooting, and making routine repairs in the following areas of, but not limited to: * APPLIANCES, (Installation, repairs and replacing), * BASEBOARDS/CROWN MOLDING, * BUILDING REPAIRS, * CARPENTRY, * CEMENT/CONCRETE PATCH WORK, * COUNTER TOP REPAIR/REPLACEMENT (required), * DECK REPAIRS, * DOORS/CLOSET DOORS/SLIDING GLASS DOORS (repair & replacement - required), * DRYWALL (required), * ELECTRICAL - (required), * FENCING, * PLUMBING - (required) - (galvanized pipes, shower stems & valves, slab leaks, gas leaks, etc), * ROOF REPAIRS/PATCHES/TARPING, * SHOWER ENCLOSURE installations, * SIDING/GUTTERS, * STUCCO * SUB-FLOOR REPAIR/REPLACEMENT,* TILE WORK (flooring, wall, countertops), * WALL HEATERS/WALL UNIT AIR-CONDITIONERS (Installation, repairs and replacing), * WATER HEATERS (repairs & replacing), * WINDOW REPAIRS & GLASS REPLACEMENT, * MUST OWN A TRUCK (REQUIRED), * As well as knowledge of day to day maintenance, * Responsible for timely completion of all phases of apartment make-ready work, Compensation/benefits: (Hourly - DOE) + Mileage Compensation + 6 Holidays + up to 15 Vacation + 5 Sick + Med.
