Hello there. I need some help. For over a year I’ve been living in a place that is a complete renovation project. I’m not the owner. I lived outside in a tent for 6 months and didn’t even have a shower for 9 months. I’ve been chipping away; It’s been challenging, because one guy will say one thing and then another guy comes in says and does another thing! I couldn’t pay the highest labor prices, so I probably got low budget people who came and went. People are generally good, but I’m still living without a kitchen and it’s time to make things happen.
I’m 64 years old, living on Pandemic Unemployment Assistance, and hoping to find a mature guy who is an “Electrician Supervisor” who can replace an old fire-danger panel, and in the process switch it from being accessed from the inside to being accessible from the outside. To do this, we need a “licensed electrician supervisor” to pull the permit from the city of Eugene and Lane county. I’ve been told that the city will need to shut off the power temporarily.
Then we need to run 220 and add some outlets for a new dryer and stove, an exhaust, plus move some 110 plugins for a few other applications.
The last piece of the puzzle is to remove a hot water heater and install a ‘tankless’
Instant hot water heater, perhaps one you would recommend. The tankless will need to be purchased and the electrical will need to be connected.
There will be plumbing required, which you can do, or someone else can do it. The water manifold is already plumbed in, and it might be a good idea to install a filter for the city water before it reaches the tankless heater.
I’m easy to talk to, "give me a call" if you can help. Or respond with a detailed email, with your time availability, price, skills, or anything you want to ask.
I'm here most of the time so you can drop by anytime to have a look. Any advice is appreciated.
Thanks,
Glenn
