Looking for an equine assistant, must have horse experience and be able to help with the following tasks: -Feeding Horses -Mucking stalls/pens -Administering medications and assisting with providing medical care to horses -Holding horses for Farrier -Assistance with Moving Horses -Observing horses for signs of injury or illness and communicating problems observed to equine director -Keeping Barn Tidy and Organized -Assistance with keeping horse feed and supplies stocked Other ranch tasks may include: -Pulling weeds -Piling Limbs/Sticks in Pastures -Cleaning Water Troughs -Removing Old Fencing -Helping with other miscellaneous ranch tasks as directed Job Requirements: -Must be reliable, job hours are 7am-4pm -Must have attention to detail -Looking for part time or full time employee -Must be able to work weekends -Must be able to pass a background check -Looking for a long term employee *Ranch is located in a very rural area 50-60 min from Prineville and Bend
