Please help

Ok, I am looking for a young Dauchshund or puppy for my dad. He had one for 14 years and took it to the vet, not going to name which one but they severely hurt him. Broke his arm, shoulder and foot. My dad did everything in his power to keep his best friend happy and healthy. This was no ordinary dog. "D" was practically human, my dad treated him better than him better than his own kids lol. Well "D" was old and got very sick despite my dad's attempts to save him and another vets,and my help and countless amounts of money. "D" passed away and my dad was heart broken. He's on a fixed income so he can't afford to buy another pet. ( I got "D" for him) I'm begging anyone out there that has any sympathy or knows this kind of pain to help my dad out. I'll drive no matter how far, send updates, whatever you need but please just help my dad. That's all I'm asking. He needs a new friend he completely lost without his. Thank you
