Rock Drummer Wanted

Description

Rock Drummer wanted: We are a new band of friends that have known each other for a long time. The guitar player and I were in a band together a few years back and have continued to write and record original music. We have five songs tracked for a record with a Grammy winning engineer and are going to track five or six more for a full length release. We have a pretty deep well of songs to pick from as far as what we play and are ready to play live a.s.a.p. Our goal is to find a drummer and write the final songs together as a band. We have been using a friend of mine who’s a studio drummer only. We want to play live and be able to do small stints of festivals/gigs down I-5 or Idaho. Not looking to conquer the world just make some great music and roll the bones, so ta speak. We are seasoned professionals with plenty of contacts for gigs and promotional assistance. We are bass, keyboard, guitar, and vocals. We rehearse in Bellevue right off 405 & 520 on Saturdays. We work on writing during the week and sending riff and vocal ideas back and forth so by the weekend we can bring in new ideas to work on with everyone. Being asked “what you sound like” is always the hardest question to answer when you are trying to be “original” Some bands we like a lot are Rival Sons, BlackStone Cherry, Led Zeppelin, Black Crowes. Our musical influences growing up were Zeppelin for the guitar player… for me I love, Myles Kennedy, Glenn Hues, Black Country Communion(Joe Bonamassa) The Dead Daisies, The winery Dogs, Richie Kotzen. Dio, Dickenson, Halford and Geoff Tate as well as Zep, Rush, Rainbow, Rob Zombie, Sound garden & Black Sabbath. We are looking for a solid pro who is dependable, reliable, able to transport your own equipment. We don’t really care how old you are or how much experience you have if you are good and know in the deepest depths of your soul that you are meant to rock.. We need a beast looking for an opportunity. We are looking for a long term band member who understands that you will make little to nothing playing original music until you are signed and on a legitimate tour. We all have day jobs and our time is precious to us so we try to be as efficient with it as we can. We don’t drink at rehearsal (our bass and guitar player don't drink at all), although sometimes we smoke. We have fun and make time for this because this is what we love to do; we play the music in our head. This is a link to the last band Ken (guitar player) and I were in together (Blackline) Our new songs are not quite as heavy as these, not on-line and have keyboards in them but it’s a little example of our sound. https://www.reverbnation.com/blacklinemusic Please respond with a link to your music or band page, a picture of yourself, and your musical aspirations.
