This is very hard to post, but I feel as though the community needs to know this entire story. My boyfriend and I bought this handsome all-black lab after losing our dog to cancer a month or so ago. We were looking to add to our family, and were under the impression that we were getting a 1 year old puppy that was a good family dog. The original owner told us that he was up to date on his vaccinations, housebroken, trained and leash trained, and good with kids and other dogs. He also told us that he was neutered and that is not the case. He's incredibly friendly and is very sweet to us but simply is not meshing as well with our other dog as we expected. The original owner told us that he couldn't keep him as he was moving to an apartment that didn't accept dogs, and will not respond to our calls or texts. At this point, he's not a good fit for our household, and it appears as though the previous owner simply didn't want to deal with him anymore. It's of the utmost importance that we find a good home for the dog, as he's done nothing wrong and is a victim to an uncaring owner. Please text or call me with any questions you may have.
