Due to expansion of my company I am looking to fill a handyman/ helper position for my Short Term Rental company. This is 1099 work. A little bit about me and the company: I started working for Air Concierge a short term rental company in North Lake Tahoe and Truckee 4 years ago where we had only 6 homes, as we hit 2021 we have approx 15 homes in our portfolio and it is becoming a lot of work for one person. I am looking for a helper to manage these arrivals while I put more of my focus on adding more homes to our portfolio. I am looking for like minded individuals that have an eye for hospitality standards as well as handyman skills. Time punctual, honest, great communication and past experience in hospitality. Willing to consider two people for this position (one handyman, one arrival checklist helper). Preferably want someone located in Tahoe/Truckee but would consider reno and carson. This is a lucrative position if you are looking for flexible part time work. As I grow this position I am looking to add someone to the team that would like to expand with us. The more homes we have to manage, the more work that would be offered, and we are growing the region rapidly. Job description entails: 1. Home prep checks prior to arrivals: $35 per check in Check-ins vary greatly week to week, Summer and winter are our busiest seasons and spring and fall are our slower season. Arrival prep checklists consist of changing batteries, checking light bulbs, checking cleaning standard, informing me if there are any issues, and more (a full breakdown of example checklist can be sent to you if you have interest).. This checklist is essentially to ensure everything is ready for guest arrival 2. Maintenance/ Handyman work: Seperate fee (priced by handyman, willing to negotiate) In addition to the arrival prep work, I am looking f someone handy that can fix smaller damages on the spot when doing arrival checks at our vacation rentals. If you are wanting more maintenance work we would give you all of our maintenance work for all of our homes given your experience. This is a lucrative position if you are looking for flexible part time work with experience in hospitality and handyman work.
