We are looking for someone who is interested in growing with our company and looking for a long term position. Hours per week vary from approx. 25-40 hrs. The Dog Daycare & Boarding Staff Member is responsible for the supervision, control and management of our dogs in order to ensure the safety of the playgroup, assist with preparing & distributing meals. Providing continuous fresh water. This employee is also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the facility throughout their shifts. Qualifications: Previous experience providing care for dogs (vet clinic, Pet shelter, boarding or daycare facility, pet sitter) A passion for animals and animal care. Know how to communicate with dogs Attention to details Basic Computer skills, taking reservations. Physically able to secure and handle large dogs Physically able to handle cleaning duties and lifting up to 40 pounds Effective record-keeping and communication skills. Dependability, reliability in performance of all duties. Good attendance and reliable transportation...must own a car. Good work ethic, willingness to multitask and follow directions Personable and friendly demeanor on the phone and in person with clients. We are open 7 days a week work shifts are some morning shifts and mostly afternoon shifts between the hours of 6:30 and 7:00pm
