Description

Thank you, man in the Speedy Air Conditioning truck! A few days ago Jon and I were out visiting "little libraries" (those free-book-boxes in front of houses) when our car broke down. It was 94 degrees out. It took 2 hours for the tow truck to show up. After the tow truck left, I tried to schedule an Uber. But... Uber requires masks, and I didn't have one on me. It was about 4pm, and the earliest a friend would be able to pick us up would be 6pm. I'm heat-sensitive, and though I'd been holding up fairly well, I was finally getting heatsick, so I lay down on the sidewalk. About ten cars drove past over time. But then the Speedy A/C truck drove by. It stopped, backed up slowly, pulled over, and parked. The guy got out and came over to ask if I was okay. His truck was only a 2-seater so he couldn't drive us home but he did give me a beautiful face mask, brand-new in its packaging! So I was able to call for an Uber. THANK YOU SPEEDY A/C TRUCK MAN! There are still good people out there who will stop and help strangers in need! I'm keeping their phone number for next time I need A/C repair... --Lorelei S. PS I know the photo isn't so good but I took this snapshot with my phone as he was leaving. Speedy Heating & Air Conditioning . San Fernando Valley area, CA.
