Element Farms needs help with a greenhouse repair/maintenance project at our greenhouse in Lafayette, NJ. As our Short-Term Construction/Maintenance Worker, you’ll work with our facilities team to get the job done in 2-3 weeks! YOU’RE A GOOD FIT FOR THE ROLE IF YOU: -Have at least 1 year of experience on a maintenance team at a commercial or industrial work environment -Are comfortable working on ladders and handling roof work -Have experience using power tools -Are able to lift up to 70 lbs -Can solve mechanical, technical, and electrical issues -Can work independently and do it well -Are reliable and punctual -Value good attendance and a good attitude -Have basic knowledge in areas such as HVAC, industrial electrical, and plumbing NECESSARY AVAILABILITY: 5 days a week (6 if you want it!) 8 am - 6 PM OTHER REQUIREMENTS: -Some experience with maintenance and/or construction work in a commercial setting -Reliable transportation to get to and from work -Compliance with all safety and food safety policies in the greenhouse -Must be legally able to work in the United States COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS: PPE (masks, gloves) must be worn on site at all times for unvaccinated team members Social distancing required where available COMPENSATION: $25/hr
